Unhealthy Air Quality Detected in Multiple Sarawak Areas

Five areas in Sarawak have recorded unhealthy Air Pollutant Index (API) readings, specifically Kuching, Samarahan, Serian, Bintulu, and Samalaju, according to reports. The situation is attributed to ongoing transboundary haze affecting air quality in the region.
Additionally, recent updates indicate that Miri, Sarikei, and Sri Aman have joined the list of areas experiencing unhealthy air quality. This follows the originally reported regions, highlighting the spread of the unhealthy conditions across larger parts of Sarawak.
