NCCIA Summons Four Individuals Over Allegations Against Sharjeel Memon

The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency has summoned four individuals following a complaint by Sharjeel Memon regarding social media allegations.

The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has summoned four residents of Karachi to appear in person at its office. This action is part of an inquiry initiated following a complaint filed by Sharjeel Inam Memon, a Senior Minister in Sindh.

According to reports, the summons are linked to allegations of 'false and malicious content' circulated on social media concerning Sharjeel Memon and his son. These allegations are connected to the ongoing investigation into the Mir Raza Ali murder case.

The notices issued by the NCCIA, dated August 10, indicate that the agency is examining claims of defamation through electronic and digital means. The individuals are expected to appear before an investigating officer on August 13.
