Supply of Crude Oil to Nigerian Refineries Increased by 88.4% in Q2 2026

The Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) reported that supply of crude oil and condensate to local refineries increased by 88.4% in the second quarter of 2026, amounting to 53.7 million barrels. This figure marks a substantial rise from the 28.5 million barrels supplied in the first quarter of the same year.
According to the NUPRC, this supply was achieved under the Domestic Crude Supply Obligation (DCSO), which mandates crude provision for local refining operations. The compliance rate reported for the DCSO in the second quarter was 97.4%.
