Advait Upadhyay, a cybersecurity expert from Bengaluru, has been reported missing during a solo trekking expedition. He was last seen on Friday, with his motorcycle found at the base of the Shivagange Hills. According to accounts, his phone was switched off after its last signal was recorded near Kuduru on Kunigal Road, a location not typically associated with trekking routes.
Rescue teams have been deployed to search the area, and drones have spotted what appears to be a body in the thick vegetation close to Shantala Drop. Continuous rainfall and the challenging terrain are complicating rescue efforts to verify the find and ensure safety during operations.
