Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi confirmed that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leadership and its ally, the Tehreek Tahaffuz-i-Ayeen Pakistan (TTAP), are united in their decision to hold a long march to Islamabad on September 27. This announcement was made during an appearance on the Geo News programme 'Capital Talk'.

Afridi stated that this protest is considered a last resort after all democratic means to secure the release of Imran Khan have been exhausted. He emphasized that the political leadership of PTI across Pakistan is in agreement regarding the planned march, which aims to mobilize support and convey their demands effectively.

The confirmation of the long march marks a significant moment for both PTI and TTAP, as they prepare to gather supporters and advocate for their cause in the capital.
