Sangineto: security guard dies following assault
Antonio Perrotta, 34, died after an attack outside a venue in Sangineto. Investigations are underway.
A 34-year-old security guard, Antonio Perrotta, has died in a hospital in Cosenza due to severe injuries sustained during an assault outside a nightclub in Sangineto. According to sources, the attack occurred at the peak of a fight that started inside the venue.
After the incident, Perrotta underwent emergency surgery in Cetraro and was subsequently transferred to the intensive care unit at the Annunziata Hospital in Cosenza. Unfortunately, his condition rapidly deteriorated, leading to his death.
Police and Carabinieri are investigating the case, while the Prosecutor's Office of Paola has launched an inquiry to clarify the details of the incident.
