Moraes authorizes Paulo Sérgio Nogueira to take course in prison
The Federal Supreme Court allowed former minister Paulo Sérgio Nogueira to take an online leadership and management course while serving his sentence.

Minister Alexandre de Moraes of the Federal Supreme Court (STF) has authorized Paulo Sérgio Nogueira de Oliveira to enroll in a Leadership and Management course in Health. Nogueira de Oliveira, a retired general and former Minister of Defense during Jair Bolsonaro's government, has been in custody for 255 days.
The decision to allow the enrollment was made last Thursday, October 6, and made public on Monday, October 10. The course will be offered in a distance learning format by an educational institution accredited by the Secretary of State for Penitentiary Administration of the Federal District (Seape-DF).

Access to courses for incarcerated individuals is a measure aimed at providing new learning opportunities while detainees serve their sentences. The STF frequently reviews similar requests for the rehabilitation of prisoners.
Moraes's authorization follows a trend of allowing inmates to participate in educational activities that may assist in their reintegration into society after serving their sentences.
