Apollo Global Management is purchasing the UK airline EasyJet for approximately €6.6 billion, multiple sources report.

The American investment firm Apollo Global Management is acquiring the UK low-cost airline EasyJet for €6.6 billion. This has been confirmed by the companies, with Apollo offering each EasyJet shareholder a cash amount of £7.15.
According to information from De Telegraaf, Stelios Haji-Ioannou, the founder and major shareholder of EasyJet, supports Apollo's offer. A valuation of around €6.7 billion was reported by SRF, while other sources mention a value in pounds that is slightly below this amount.
