High Temperatures and Storms Expected in Eastern Spain

The Spanish National Meteorological Service, Aemet, predicts a rise in intense heat on the eve of the eclipse, with temperatures potentially reaching 40º in the south of the country. In the east, storms are expected in the afternoon, including the possibility of hail.

Additionally, nights in the Mediterranean area are expected to be sultry, creating a muggy sensation due to high humidity. The weather conditions are increasing the risk of wildfires, which is considered very high or extreme.
