Cloudflare Introduces Kitesurf and Cloudflare Computer for AI Agents
Cloudflare has unveiled Kitesurf, an AI agent-focused browser, and Cloudflare Computer, a new runtime for enhanced AI environment capabilities.

Cloudflare has launched Kitesurf, a cloud-hosted browser specifically designed for AI agents rather than human users. This new browser is reported to use less computing power than Chromium for common automation tasks, allowing developers to create browser-based AI agents more efficiently, according to TechCrunch.
In addition, Cloudflare has introduced Cloudflare Computer, an open-source runtime aimed at providing AI agents with environments more akin to a real computer rather than temporary containers. InfoQ reports that this new runtime utilizes Cloudflare isolates for quick serverless execution, which makes the running of AI agents cheaper, faster, and more scalable.
