Chilean government decides not to withdraw profits from Codelco in 2025
Codelco's profits in 2025 will be reinvested in the company, according to the government of José Antonio Kast.
The government of President José Antonio Kast has decided not to withdraw profits from Codelco in the year 2025. This will be the first time in over 50 years that this measure will be implemented.
Instead of withdrawing the benefits, Codelco will be able to capitalize 100% of its profits, allowing the earnings to be reinvested back into the company.
