A Madrid court investigates complaints regarding government penthouse purchase

The investigating court number 8 in Madrid has begun to investigate five complaints related to the purchase of a penthouse in Chamberí by the Community of Madrid. This project was managed through the public company Planifica Madrid. According to legal sources, the property was intended to serve as an office for the Madrid president, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, during a renovation phase at the government headquarters in Puerta del Sol.

The Prosecutor's Office has sent the court the complaints filed by three individuals and the PSOE. These complaints focus on the legality of the acquisition of the property, which has been the subject of controversy in political and legal circles.

Recently, the court received four additional complaints, indicating renewed interest in this case from the community and institutions.
